UQ and Japanese companies in general usually insist on certification. Therefore, I decided to check the certification status of the data cards.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.necat.co.jp\/\">NEC Access Technica <\/a>certified both the <a href=\"http:\/\/wimaxforum.org\/productshowcase\/accesstechnicas-pa-wm3200c-pcmcia\">PCMCIA card<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/wimaxforum.org\/productshowcase\/aterm-wm3200u\">USB<\/a> in January.<\/p>\n<p>As for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shinseicorp.com\/wimax\/index.html\">Shinsei Corp<\/a>, there is no certification as they rely on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.modacom.co.kr\/en\/product\/001.htm\">Modacom<\/a> (the actual Korean manufacturer of the devices) . Modacom has also certified both the <a href=\"http:\/\/wimaxforum.org\/productshowcase\/modacom-express-card-wimax-modem-mw-c2500e\">Express Card<\/a>, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/wimaxforum.org\/productshowcase\/modacomsubscriberstation\">USB<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Confusing a bit, is the fact that the <a href=\"http:\/\/wimaxforum.org\/productshowcase\/modacom-express-card-wimax-modem-mw-c2500e\">Modacom Express Card Certification<\/a> page shows a USB device.
