Reports in the Israeli press claim that Alvarion (NASDAQ: ALVR) plans additional layoffs. This time, 20% of Alvarion staff, mostly in Israel, is expected to go.<\/p>\n

Report in Ynet (HE)<\/a> claim that the BMU business will be closed\/merged into the BWA business unit. On the other hand, a report in Globes <\/a>claims that “there is no intention to close any division, but only to reduce headcount”.<\/p>\n
