Saw several samples online so decided to create one by myself.
Started by copying the Brompton Logo from the bicycle using a tracing paper
Cut leather in the right size and transferred the Logo to the leather
Dyed

And attached to my Bicycle :

A Journey to the Levant
Using my Brompton Bicycle very often.
During my vacation, I travel to different locations in Tokyo (by Train), and cycle around there. Besides enjoying the scenery and good food (which of course I plan ahead where to eat), I really enjoy the experience.
Unfortunately, I realized I don’t take enough photos during these trip.
The following are the two only photos I took from my Asakusa (浅草)area tour.
Bought Brompton P6R.
Ordered them last week and got them on Saturday. Was thinking of riding them half way and take the train, but ended up riding all the way home.
Maybe I am stating the obvious, but riding a bicycle is better than riding the train. Found interesting places, parks, beautiful streets.
The only question is, how often will I use them and make sure they are maintained well.
While I enjoyed most of “The Sinner”, and definitely liked the atmosphere and acting, the last two chapters left me really frustrated.
Totally agree with the comments in “What Started our Strong ended All Wrong” .
While in 5 or 6 chapters we are dragged into a dark world of uncertainty. Of mystery, we are left with a simple story with huge holes in the plot.
Want to add some more frustrations:
My Nakaya Fountain pen has disappeared.
Have no idea how and when, but could not find it in my bag this morning.
Either I lost it while taking out something else in my bag, or stolen.
A strong feeling of loss and disbelief.
If stolen, how possible and where. In a Cafe where I was working ? Is it possible ?
If lost, how did it happen?
Anyway, it is gone.
As much I enjoyed it, the loss is strong, so I don’t think I will buy a replacement.
First time to see such an ad in Japan, and obviously not in the most expensive ad spaces in Shinjuku.
Assume it coincides with President Trump visit to Japan and the media interest in the abduction story .
Watched the movie over the weekend.
As I left the movie theater, heard a couple complaining about the movie. From what I heard they felt it was too long, story was too slow.
Well, I loved it.
Obviously the story is rather simple, but the movies is not about scene twists or complex stories, but about visuals, about some fundamental questions of Robot usage and their place in the world.
If a replicant can love and reproduce, is it still a replicant ? Movie shows replicants being killed as something almost obvious, but also shows murder of human by a replicant. is there a difference? Can a replicant fall in love with a virtual figure ?
As a trivia fun, it was interesting to see Coca Cola add in Hebrew as well as Atari.
Visuals, visuals, visuals. Go to see the movie and sink slowly into the atmosphere.
Wanted a portable shoehorn for a while, but did not find the right one.
Finally found one at Loft, so decided to cover it with leather and hang on my bag.
Quite surprised how fast I finished this one, but I obviously did not spend too much time designing.
Shoehorn after detached from the holder
Marked the outline on the leather
Made holes on the contour +2mm
Attached another leather on the back, punched holes again (a mistake) and started sewing.
What the other side looks like
Cut the leather to match the contour
Did not completely close the leather, but still completed sewing to create a nice shape.
Putting it all together
Complete
Definitely not a new song, but a song that accompanies me for many years.
One of the best books I have read (multiple times) and one of the best songs I know.
The song actually starts from bullying and being a stranger, with a clear reference to Albert Camus at the end.
MOTHER died today. Or, maybe, yesterday; I can’t be sure.
But then it cuts off to
At the funeral they expected me to cry
Well I didn’t
Trying to bring the conclusion or more “strangeness” into the song.
